Will S. Fernyhough, DDS, MSD

Dr. Fernyhough is a recognized authority on periodontal and dental implant therapy. Throughout his years of training and private practice, he has developed an effective approach in serving his patients at the highest level of professionalism.

Dr. Fernyhough earned his undergraduate and dental graduate degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle. He then received specialty training at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, and there earned his Certificate in Periodontics in 1986. Jessica R. Swoboda, DDS, MSD

Dr. Jessica Swoboda was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota and moved to the Redmond/Woodinville area in 1986. She was the valedictorian of her high school and went on to attend the University of Washington. She graduated from the UW with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and continued on at the University of Washington School of Dentistry to receive her dental degree (Doctor of Dental Surgery). Issa Dkeidek, DDS, MSD

Dr. Issa Dkeidek is delighted to join the Premier Peroidontics family after residing in the northeast for the better part of his educational career. He received his bachelors in Biology from the University of Massachusetts. Continuing in his educational endeavors; he graduated from The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2006 receiving his degree of doctor in dental surgery (DDS). Office Team

Jeannie
Jeannie is a Northwest native and has been with the practice since 1991. She is the patient and staff coordinator and has met many wonderful people and team members throughout her career that have become her second family.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, scrapbooking and spending time with her family. She has been married for 30 years, has 2 adult children Ryan and Teresa and a grand-puppy.

Roxanne
Roxanne has been part of the team since 2006. She has worked in customer service for over 30 years, mostly with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. She started at Premier Periodontics at the front desk and is now our financial coordinator, handling billing and insurance.

Roxanne is married and has two adult children, Kim and Jeff, a daughter-in-law Brittany, a grandson Justin and a granddaughter, Addison. She enjoys spending time with her family who all live in the area and with her dog, Dakota.

Shirley
Shirley joined the front office team in 2010. She is new to the dental field but has extensive background in the hospitality industry with the Westin Hotel chain in Human Resources and in the sales office at a local high end catering company.
Shirley enjoys gardening, walking her 2 dogs, getting together with friends, traveling and taking care of her busy family. She is married and has 2 active teenagers.

Hygiene Team

Pam
Pam graduated in 1978 from Eastern Washington University with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She has been a valued member of the practice for 30 years.

She lives on the Kitsap peninsula with her husband and enjoys making the weekly commute to our office.

Diane
Diane graduated from Clark College in Vancouver, WA. She has been a dental hygienist with Premier Periodontics for 25 years.
In her spare time, Diane enjoys reading, gardening, volleyball, and keeping up with her son and husband.

Laurie
Laurie has been with the practice for 12 years and has been a registered dental hygienist for 22 years, practicing both in general dentistry as well as Periodontics.

Laurie is an accomplished horse woman and enjoys competing in the area of dressage. She loves all animals and in addition to her horse, has 2 cats and a small yorkie mix puppy. She is married with 2 teenage daughters.

Mary Jo
Mary Jo came to the practice in 2008 with 26 years of hygiene experience. She graduated with a B.S. from Eastern Washington University.

In her spare time she is raising 2 children that are busy with sports and dance. She has traveled the world but loves the great Northwest. Mary Jo also loves to read, paint, kayak, and travel.

Meghan
Meghan graduated from Lake Washington Technical College in 2006 with a dental hygiene degree. She also attended WSU and in 2001 received a B.S. in environmental science.

She lives in Redmond and enjoys running, hiking, snowboarding and traveling.

Surgical Team

JoAnne
JoAnne is a surgical assistant and our implant coordinator. She has worked in our practice for over 15 years. JoAnne has also worked in Oral Surgery for many years prior to joining Premier Periodontics.

When she is not working, JoAnne enjoys spending time with her family and her dog Sophie. Jo loves to travel to Mexico and is always excited to plan her two trips each year.

Yelena
Yelena joined the surgical assistant team in 2001. She came to the United States from the Ukraine in 1990 and graduated from Kentridge High School. She received her administrative assistant certificate from BCTI. Yelena received her certificate and training as a surgical assistant from Job Corps in Mt. Vernon, WA in 2000 and is a valuable member of our practice.
Yelena loves to play with her nieces and nephews. She enjoys reading, walking, gardening, scrapbooking and teaching Bible class to children. If time permits she enjoys traveling as well.

Shanna
A Chicago native, Shanna came to the Northwest in 1996. She has over 7 years of experience assisting in periodontal surgery. Four of those years have been with our practice.

Shanna is the proud mother of a wonderful daughter and is happily married. Her family is growing and they are expecting another child on 9/19/10. We are all very excited. With a very faith oriented background, Shanna enjoys time with family and friends. She loves her patients, her profession and working with a team that feels like family.

Naomi
Our newest member of the assistant team, Naomi was raised in Seattle. Her father is a general dentist and from an early age has inspired her to enter the dental field.

Naomi was recently married in April and is looking forward to this next chapter in her life. Her interests outside of work include anything that involves being outdoors, especially riding dirt bikes and snowmobiles.

Irina
Irina is our sterilization technician and is a great asset to the team. She came to this country from the Ukraine in 2000. Since that time she worked at Phillips Sonicare and as a home health caregiver. Irina then received her dental assistant certificate in 2003 and joined the team in 2008.
