Will S. Fernyhough, DDS, MSD
Dr. Fernyhough is a recognized
authority on periodontal and dental implant therapy. Throughout
his years of training and private practice, he has developed
an effective approach in serving his patients at the highest
level of professionalism.
Dr. Fernyhough earned his undergraduate and dental graduate degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle. He then received specialty training at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, and there earned his Certificate in Periodontics in 1986. Jessica R. Swoboda, DDS, MSD
Dr. Jessica Swoboda was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota and moved to the Redmond/Woodinville area in 1986. She was the valedictorian of her high school and went on to attend the University of Washington. She graduated from the UW with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and continued on at the University of Washington School of Dentistry to receive her dental degree (Doctor of Dental Surgery). Issa Dkeidek, DDS, MSD
Dr. Issa Dkeidek is delighted to join the Premier Periodontics family after residing in the northeast for the better part of his educational career. He received his bachelors in Biology from the University of Massachusetts. Continuing in his educational endeavors; he graduated from The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2006 receiving his degree of doctor in dental surgery (DDS). Office Team
Jeannie
Jeannie is a Northwest native and has been with the practice since 1991. She is the patient and staff coordinator and has met many wonderful people and team members throughout her career that have become her second family.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, scrapbooking and spending time with her family. She has been married for 30 years, has 2 adult children Ryan and Teresa and a grand-puppy.
Roxanne
Roxanne has been part of the team since 2006. She has worked in customer service for over 30 years, mostly with the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. She started at Premier Periodontics at the front desk and is now our financial coordinator, handling billing and insurance.
Roxanne is married and has two adult children, Kim and Jeff, and a granddaughter, Addison. She enjoys spending time with her family who all live in the area.
Shirley
Shirley joined the front office team in 2010. She is new to the dental field but has extensive background in the hospitality industry with the Westin Hotel chain in Human Resources and in the sales office at a local high end catering company.
Shirley enjoys gardening, walking her 2 dogs, getting together with friends, traveling and taking care of her busy family. She is married and has 2 active teenagers.
Hygiene Team
Pam
Pam graduated in 1978 from Eastern Washington University with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. She has been a valued member of the practice for 30 years.
She lives on the Kitsap peninsula with her husband and enjoys making the weekly commute to our office.
Laurie
Laurie started with the practice in 1998 and has been a registered dental hygienist since 1986, practicing both in general dentistry as well as periodontics.
Laurie is an accomplished horse woman and enjoys competing in the area of dressage. She loves all animals and in addition to her horse, has 2 cats and a small yorkie mix puppy. She is married with 2 teenage daughters.
Mary Jo
Mary Jo came to the practice in 2008 with 26 years of hygiene experience. She graduated with a B.S. from Eastern Washington University.
In her spare time she is raising 2 children that are busy with sports and dance. She has traveled the world but loves the great Northwest. Mary Jo also loves to read, paint, kayak, and travel.
Meghan
Meghan graduated from Lake Washington Technical College in 2006 with a dental hygiene degree. She also attended WSU and in 2001 received a B.S. in environmental science.
She lives in Redmond and enjoys running, hiking, snowboarding and traveling.
Surgical Team
JoAnne
JoAnne is a surgical assistant and our implant coordinator. She has worked in our practice since 1996. JoAnne has also worked in Oral Surgery for many years prior to joining Premier Periodontics.
JoAnne is married with an adult daughter. When she is not working, JoAnne enjoys spending time with her family and her dog Sophie. Jo loves to travel to Mexico and is always excited to plan her two trips each year.
Naomi
Naomi is a member of the surgical assistant team. She has many years of experience in the periodontal field and enjoys always learning and evolving with her team. Naomi was raised in the Pacific Northwest and plans to stay surrounded by the green trees and rain for many years.
Naomi and her husband have two kids with lots of hair and four legs that keep them very busy. In her free time, she enjoys the great outdoors, sometimes on something with a motor and sometimes without.
Irina
Irina is our sterilization technician and is a great asset to the team. She came to this country from the Ukraine in 2000. Since that time she worked at Phillips Sonicare and as a home health caregiver. Irina then received her dental assistant certificate in 2003 and joined the team in 2008.
Irina is married and loves cooking for her family and enjoys playing with her daughter, Michelle.
Katrina
Katrina is a member of our surgical assistant team. She was born and raised here in Seattle. She is a registered dental assistant and has worked since 2005 assisting in general dentistry and periodontal surgery.
Katrina is a proud mother of her son Duane and new daughter Savannah and is happily married. When Katrina is not at work she enjoys playing with her kids, watching her husband play baseball, spending quality time with family, friends, working out, and any outdoor activities – running, skiing, hiking, and camping.
Bernie
Bernie joined our surgical assistant team in Spring, 2012, after working over 15 years in oral surgery.
Bernie is married and has 4 grown children. She enjoys spending time with her husband, and “kids”, when possible. Playing outdoors; skiing, kayaking, biking, walking, hiking, and gardening rejuvenate her, as well as home building projects and volunteer activities at her church.
