Dr. Fernyhough is a recognized authority on periodontal and dental implant therapy. Throughout his years of training and private practice, he has developed an effective approach in serving his patients at the highest level of professionalism.

Dr. Fernyhough earned his undergraduate and dental graduate degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle. He then received specialty training at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, and there earned his Certificate in Periodontics in 1986. Unlike other periodontists, he then went on to earn his Master of Science in Dentistry in 1987.

On a Personal Note

Dr. Fernyhough is married with four children and is an avid outdoors person. He enjoys bicycling, skiing, golfing and windsurfing.
